ARINDAM BHATTACHARJEE

Arindam Bhattacharjee is an Indian cinematographer and director of Photography. known for his work across feature films, web series, documentaries, music videos, and advertising films.

 

He studied cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and began his career working on acclaimed film Ra.One with Red Chillies Entertainment.

 

He has served as Director of Photography on projects such as Zindagi Namah (SonyLIV), Karate Girls (Amazon miniTV), and Gone Game Season 2. He was the Second DoP on the Netflix film Guilty (Dharmatic Entertainment) and worked as an additional cinematographer on the National Award-winning Marathi film Ventilator and The Zoya Factor.

 

His recent feature film with Sanjay Mishra has completed post-production. His work extends to music and documentary formats, including the musictravel series Sonic Routes with composer Amit Trivedi.

 

He has shot several popular music videos, including the widely recognized Punjabi track “Lamberghini” and projects for Coke Studio such as “Madaari.” Bhattacharjee’s short films Ek Chup (starring Mona Singh) and Ek Kadam (featuring Renuka Shahane and Rajesh Tailang) received Filmfare nominations, with Ek Kadam earning him the Best Cinematography award. His advertising and documentary credits include the Mother’s Day campaign “Maa Nahin Bhoolti” and the social impact film “Don’t Look Away,” directed by Jaydeep Sircar for Kailash Satyarthi’s Bachpan Bachao Andolan, which received international attention.

 

Over the years, Arindam has worked with leading actors including Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kapil Sharma ,Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Sonam Kapoor, among others. His advertising portfolio includes major brands such as Tanishq, Nykaa, Harley-Davidson, Netflix, Colgate, Domino’s, Vespa and many more.
